This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in our work, in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and our professional obligations as a licensee of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.

What we collect through this website

If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to send: your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred language, the topic of your enquiry, and your message. Please do not send passport numbers, UCI or application numbers, dates of birth or ID documents through the website.

This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

  • to reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation;
  • to provide services under a written service agreement if you become a client;
  • to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with your consent, as needed to provide our services (for example, submitting an application to IRCC), or where required by law.

How the contact form works

At present, the contact form opens your own email program and sends your message by email to gsidhu@nalua.ca. Email is not fully secure, so please keep your message brief and general.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. We keep client files for as long as required by the CICC and applicable law, and enquiries that do not lead to an engagement only for as long as needed to respond to them.

Your rights

You may ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent (subject to legal and contractual limits). Contact our privacy officer: Gurjot Singh Sidhu, gsidhu@nalua.ca, Unit 201, 6611 152A Street, Surrey, BC V3S 3L4.
